Houthi Leader Alarms Enemies With Unforeseen Military ‘Surprises’ In Red Sea

Yemeni Houthis are going to bring up military “surprises” in Red Sea operations, the Iran-aligned organization’s leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi mentioned over a televised speech delivered on Thursday. The military operations are going to continue and advance further. They have surprises their enemies are not expecting at all, per al-Houthi.

Houthi militants have launched missiles and drones repeatedly against international commercial shipping ever since mid-November, stating that they were showing solidarity with the Palestinians against the Israeli military actions ongoing in Gaza.

The Red Sea attacks have so far disrupted worldwide shipping and compelled the firms to re-route to more expensive and longer journeys via southern Africa and has also stoked fears that the ongoing Israel-Hamas war might also spread to destabilize the Middle East.

Britain and the US started launching strikes on the Houthi targets based in Yemen in the last month in retaliation for attacks on Red Sea shipping.
