Watch: Injured Crew Rescued After Ship Caught Fire In UAE Waters

An injured crew member was airlifted and flown to a nearby hospital after his ship caught fire.

A helicopter sent by UAE’s National Search and Rescue Centre took him to the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi for treatment as he had burn injuries.

The video shows smoke erupting from the cargo ship’s stern and three other vessels trying to extinguish it.

The blaze occurred on Tuesday on a Panama-flagged cargo ship.
