Watch: The Largest Container Vessel To Ever Reach Boston Terminal Arrives From Asia
The greatest ship to reportedly step into the Paul W. Conley Container Terminal of Boston Harbor arrived on Thursday morning in Asia, per the Massachusetts Port Authority.
The China Ocean Shipping Company vessel, which holds about 13,500 containers, reached close to 7 a.m., per a Massport spokesperson named Jennifer Mehigan.
The COSCO AWE6 shipping line that the ship follows serves Vietnam, Singapore, China, Greece, and Abu Dhabi before reaching the East Coast of the US, Mehigan mentioned.

The ship will likely be in Boston on Thursday, as vessels usually have a tight schedule and need to reach the next port, Mehigan reported.
Mehigan was not able to provide accurate details of what the vessel was loaded with but noted that the terminal is the only full-service container facility in New England, a chosen destination for cargoes like furniture, footwear, different clothing, extensive office supplies, premium wine and spirits, sporting goods, recycled fibres, and seafood.
