Watch: NASSCO Welcomes USS Makin Island To San Diego Master Ship Repair Facility

On August 25, NASSCO welcomed USS Makin Island (LHD-8) to its Master Ship Repair facility in San Diego. The 843’ long and 104’ wide Amphibious Assault Ship docked on Friday at a weight of 30,693 long tons.
