An individual has passed away, and three others have been missing. The other 92 of the 96-member crew are safe.

Seplat mentioned in its statement that prayers and thoughts are with the loved ones of the crew member who lost his life and the three missing (at the time of the report). The rescue and emergency response team works with the rig owner, and relevant authorities are activated and on-site. The priority will be the safety and well-being of affected personnel and their families.
