Raw Video: Cargo Ship On Fire

In August 2012, a Turkish ship anchored in Jordanian waters, 700 meters from Aqaba’s main pier, catches fire. The ship, which had no cargo on board, had been anchored near the port since because of legal differences between its owner and agent.

No casualties were reported in the incident and the Royal Marine Forces helped the ship’s eight-member crew disembark.

However, the strange thing was that, according to reports, the crew had deliberately started the fire because of a dispute with the ship’s owner.

During this incident, Junior engineer Pankaj Solanki from a nearby vessel, captured the blazing ship on fire using his camera.

Check out the video of the horrible accident as the fire on the ship releases thick smoke and is eventually brought under control.
