Korean Tanker Explodes Near Sutong Bridge, All 22 Crew Members Evacuated

A Korean tanker exploded as it was sailing on the Yangtze River in the Jiangsu province of China on December 21.

The vessel was sailing to Incheon from Changzhou, based in South Korea when the cargo hold exploded suddenly and got engulfed in flames close to the Sutong Bridge.

Fortunately, the 22 crew members had been evacuated and there weren’t any reports of injuries.
