Indian Navy Keeps An Eye On China And Pakistan’s Naval Exercise Amidst Israel-Hamas Tensions

Reports indicate that the Chinese and Pakistani naval forces are planning joint war simulations in light of the current conflict between Israel and Hamas.

This matter comes to light with three Chinese warships, including a destroyer, frigate, and submarines, moving towards the Persian Gulf in association with the Pakistani Navy.

Song Class, a Chinese-type 039 submarine, was spotted by the Indian Navy in the Indian Ocean. According to the sources, the Chinese Navy will join the Pakistan Navy in the Persian Gulf.

Indian Navy closely monitors each activity using P-81 anti-submarine warfare aircraft and predator drones alongside other surveillance assets.

The three warships were reportedly part of the 44th Anti-Piracy Escort Force.

Reports claim that both the naval forces will be in military drills in November.

Since mid-September, the Indian Navy has also been keeping a tab on the Shi Yan 6, a Chinese quasi-military research ship in the Indian Ocean origin.

According to sources, the research ship is conducting a joint scientific study in the Sri Lankan EEZ.

The Indian Navy has a strong presence in the Gulf of Aden and the Persian Gulf, where it keeps an eye out for any unfriendly movement.
