Checkout this amazing time-lapse video of the construction of MV Kroonborg the innovative and world’s first maintenance support Walk-to-Work vessel.
This unique “swiss-knife” vessel features a motion compensated Ampelmann gangway system, world’s first heave compensated Barge Master T40 crane, DP2 system, Voith Schneider Propellers and bow thrusters, chemical supply and Cold start-up unit, 500m2 free deck space, a fast rescue craft, daughter craft and accommodation facilities for 60 people on board.
The vessel has been made by NAM and Shell UK with Royal Wagenborg and shipyard Royal Niestern Sander.
