Watch: Ship Carrying 120 People Catches Fire Off Philippines, Passengers And Crew Rescued
On Sunday, a vessel with 120 individuals caught fire off the Philippine island of Bohol, the country’s coast guard reported.
Videos released by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reflected the flames rising from MV Esperanza Star’s rear, with thick black smoke.

The coast guard informed CNN that all 120 guests and crew members were safely removed from the vessel. It also said that the fire had been extinguished, and none of the injuries had been suffered.
The vessel was travelling between the islands of Bohol and Siquijor AS the fire broke out, per the coast guard.
In a statement published on Facebook, the coast guard mentioned that its rescue vessels would be in the waters of Panglao in Bohol to monitor the scenario.
