Video: Assembling of Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller

One of the world’s largest container ships, Maersk’s Triple E Vessels – Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller is scheduled for delivery in July 2013.

The biggest container ships in the world – The Triple E Vessels with length of 400 meters and capacity of 18,000 TEU will replace the present largest container ship – CMA CGM Marco Polo which stands at 396 meters in length and with a capacity of 16000 TEU.

Triple-E vessels, which stand for Economy of Scale, Energy Efficiency and Environmentally Improved, will be the largest and most environmentally friendly ships in the world.

Built at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Okpo shipyard, the first of the triple E vessels would be called at the Port of Gothenburg.
