An uneasy sea is a mariner’s nightmare. The last thing a seafarer would want to face while at sea is rough weather complimented by monster waves.

However, when nature turns bitter, there is hardly anything that one can do rather than “Wait, watch, & pray”.

In 2007, Calamity Jane, an offshore support vessel went through one of the meanest weather conditions while sailing in North Sea. One of the crew members took video of the horrifying weather condition as the waves smashed the bridge’s screen, coming over the forward deck.

Though comparatively Calamity Jane was a small ship, facing monster waves that can make your bridge screen blinded, is definitely a matter of great concern.
