Drug Smugglers Filmed Jumping Off CMA CGM Container Ship With Cocaine Bales
A container vessel dubbed OLIVIA I was monitored closely by the Spanish law enforcement institutions after they had been tipped on a plausible cocaine drop from the container vessel that was to pass Gibraltar, moving from Cartagena, Colombia.

On 24 October, the patrol boat spotted and trailed behind the container vessel off Ceuta until relevant officers observed and filmed an unexpected drop-off.
The two stowaways were hiding on the vessel (in a container).
When the vessel started to approach the drop-off position, they threw themselves into the water bales with the cocaine and also jumped into the water themselves to be picked up by the land accomplices.
They were collected from the sea with the drug bales.
However, it was unfortunate for them as they were picked up by the wrong boat.
OLIVIA I was then taken to Algeciras and detained until 25 October, when she resumed her voyage to Malta. After Malta, she reached Genoa on 31 October.
