British Crew Dies In Tragic Electrocution Incident Aboard Super Yacht In The Caribbean

A man from Britain lost his life after being electrocuted aboard a 205ft super yacht in the Caribbean. Roy Temme, a crew member, was working on the luxury vessel dubbed the Baton Rouge as it was moored at a harbour based in Antigua on Friday morning. Later on, he was found unresponsive.

The 47-year-old person is a father of two from Southampton. He was the Chief Engineer on the yacht. It was understood that he ventured into the vessel’s engine area on hearing of a power outage but was discovered to be slumped over by one of his colleagues.

Paramedics and the police were called to the yacht around 8.30 am local time. Temme was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. It is also understood that the yacht has been in the harbour since the last month’s end. Detailed investigations are in progress, the port authority has confirmed.

Temme was listed as the former director of the RT Maritime Ltd. A crowd funding page has also been published by his friend Oliver Boghurst. Boghurst said that the donation would help give Natasha peace of mind, permitting her to focus on their children’s welfare instead of worrying about how she would pay the bills over the months.
