Exclusive Pictures: Maersk Triple E Vessels Under Construction

With the launch of the second ship in the series of the largest container ships in the world – the Maersk Triple E vessels are changing the face of the maritime industry.

Planning to launch 20 such massive container ships, Maersk Link is presently enjoying the spotlight and garnering attention like no other shipping company in the world.

Marine Insight recently got a chance to visit the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd (DSME)’s Okpo Shipyard, the world’s second largest shipyard, in South Korea where many of these Triple E vessels are under construction.

Below are exclusive pictures of Maerk Triple E Vessels under construction at the shipbuilding facility. Also find the pictures of the 4th Triple E Vessel in the series, Marie Maersk, which is presently under sea trials.
