Ukraine Strikes ‘Svetlyak’ Russian Patrol Ship In Sea Of Azov & St. Petersburg Oil Terminal
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that many important Russian facilities became the target of an attack.
“On June 3 and overnight into June 4, 2026, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of important targets belonging to the Russian aggressor,” the statement read.
A Russian Project 10410 border patrol ship, Svetlyak, was struck in the Sea of Azov.
Ukraine also hit a Russian weapon and military equipment storage site close to Novoiehorivka in the Kharkiv region and a command post near Ocheretyne in the Donetsk region.
During the June 3 strike on Russia’s St. Petersburg oil terminal, a fuel storage tank was destroyed, and six other tanks and two technical loading racks were damaged.
A fire broke out at a warehouse facility spanning over 200 m2 at the Michurinsk Progress Plant in the Tambov region, which produces weapon components.
Additionally, an ammunition depot close to Hrintal in the Donetsk region of Russia was struck, along with fuel storage facilities in Simferopol, occupied Crimea, and Melitopol.
The Elastik gunpowder plant in Russia’s Ryazan region was also hit, according to reports.
The General Staff said that a fire broke out at the plant, spanning over 400 m2.
