U.S. forces killed four individuals in a recent strike on a suspected vessel involved in smuggling drugs in the Caribbean waters.

The video of the incident was shared on social media platforms by U.S. Southern Command, under whose direction the Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere attacked the go-fast vessel.

U.S. officials stated there were confirmed reports about the vessel’s involvement in narco trafficking and that four ‘narco-terrorists’ were killed in the operation, which is a part of a wider campaign which began last year under the Trump Government to tackle illegal drug traffickers, which the Right Groups call ‘extrajudicial killings.’

To date, this campaign has led to the deaths of over 220 people from U.S. attacks on vessels in the Eastern Pacific and the Caribbean. The U.S. government wants to expand this endeavour on land with the cooperation of Latin American Countries.

The U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed that the governments of Honduras, Guatemala and Colombia had agreed to support Washington in its fight against criminal organisations which have intercontinental networks.

Guatemala later backed out of the campaign, while Ecuador has conducted similar missions with the help of U.S. forces since March 2026. U.S. President Donald Trump said that Washington is in an ‘armed conflict’ with the narco terrorists.

He called the strikes necessary to stop the illegal activities and infiltration of drugs in American and European markets and the consequent deaths from overdose.
