Here’s our photo of the day taken by Chief Officer Kyle Marks.

The photograph was taken by him while working onboard the AHTS vessel Far Sky belonging to Farstad Shipping. The Jack Up rig visible at a distance on the left is Ensco 104. The rig was located in the North West of Australia off the coast of Dampier.

Several hours before this picture was taken, a cyclone warning was issued to the vessel. The photograph depicts the approaching Tropical Revolving Storm (TRS).

The photograph was taken using an iPhone 4S.
