Carnival Debuts First-Ever Short Cruises On Excel-Ship From Galveston
Carnival Cruise Line today opened sailings for its 2028/29 season from Galveston, featuring a new lineup of shorter cruise options aboard Carnival Jubilee that include stops at Paradise Collection exclusive destinations.
The new program marks the first time Carnivalโs newest Excel-class ship will offer regular four- and five-day cruises from Galveston, giving guests more flexibility to sail on Carnival Jubilee.
Carnival Jubilee will offer a mix of four-, five-, six- and eight-day cruises from April 2028 through April 2029. The ship’s new four-day Western Caribbean itineraries depart on select Thursdays beginning April 27, 2028, and running through April 26, 2029, with visits to Cozumel, Mexico.
New five-day Western Caribbean sailings depart on select Saturdays and Mondays from April 17, 2028, through April 30, 2029, and call on Cozumel and Progreso, Yucatรกn.
In addition to the new short-cruise program, Carnival Jubilee will offer a six-day Western Caribbean cruise departing Oct. 29, 2028, and visiting Cozumel and Isla Tropicale, Roatรกn.
The ship will also sail an eight-day Bahamas cruise departing April 1, 2028, featuring visits to Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Nassau, as well as an eight-day Western Caribbean sailing departing April 9, 2028, with visits to Cozumel, Isla Tropicale and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
