Designed by Philippe Starck and Martin Francis and constructed by Blohm + Voss at the HDW shipyard at a rumoured cost of US$300 million, M/Y “A” is luxury motor yacht with an unconventional yet gorgeous design.
‘A’ can accommodate 14 guests in one owner’s suite and six guest suites. She can also accommodate up to 37 crew members on board.
The Mega yacht is owned by Andrey Melnichenko and the video is of the yacht moored in the harbor at Portofino Bay Cannon .

These yacht designs embraces the state of the art and can only get better. I also hold a marine engineering degree from Texas A&M University and do have more than three years work experience in ocean-going boat/custom yacht design and construction but have never been exposed to these “never seen before mega yacht designs.”
It brings life back into the marine industry.
