Video: Malaysia Launches World’s Third Biggest Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger

Malaysia yesterday launched its largest and the world’s third biggest trailing suction hopper dredger, named “Inai Kenanga”.

The dredger was launched by Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak’s wife, in Pantai Acheh, Pulau Indah.

It is absolutely unthinkable that a local company can produce a vessel that is recognized as the largest in Asia and the third biggest in the world. Today, what we never thought possible can become reality in the form of such a large vessel, a vessel that can be our pride,” the Prime Minister Najib stated.
