3 Seafarers Rescued From Sinking Cargo Ship in UAE
Emergency teams in the UAE saved three injured sailors from a sinking ship in the country’s waters, per the National Guard.The three Asian seafarers were taken to safety on rescue boats, and a medical evacuation operation was led by the National Guard, coordinated with the National Search and Rescue Centre and the UAE Coast Guard.
The time or location of the accident has not been shared, and the cause also remains unknown.
The National Guard is supported by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
Its mission is to uphold security on land and also at sea, and offer help in search and rescue missions across the Emirates and abroad.
