Iranian Navy Gets New Cruise Missiles Equipped With Highly Explosive Undetectable Warheads
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the addition of advanced cruise missiles to its naval fleet, with highly explosive and undetectable warheads.
The move comes as regional tensions rise following the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31, which Iran blames on Israel.
The disclosure reflects Iran’s determination to expand its military capabilities amid the continuous war between Israel and Hamas.
The newly acquired missile and other advanced armaments, such as long—and medium-range missiles, reconnaissance drones, and naval radar, strengthen the Guards’ naval fleet.
The introduction of these new missile systems coincides with the ongoing Israeli-Hamas conflict and increased regional volatility.
Iran’s acting foreign minister criticized Israel for making a “strategic mistake” and warned that it will “pay a price” for the recent Tehran attack.
According to the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Iran has the most ballistic missiles in the Middle East, indicating the country’s powerful military capabilities.
