USS Roosevelt (DDG-80) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in service with the United States Navy.

USS Roosevelt was the 13th ship of this class to be built at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) arrived in Rostock, Germany, for a scheduled port visit.

Roosevelt, forward-deployed to Spain, is currently on its 4th Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe (FDNF-E) patrol.

This is USS Roosevelt’s second time in Germany during her time as an FDNF-E ship.

While in port, the ship will receive stores and mail, refuel, and enjoy liberty in the local area.

While in Rostock, Roosevelt will conduct tours of the ship for American Consulate General personnel.

Prior to this port visit, Roosevelt completed a mid-patrol training and maintenance availability (TRAV) period in Naval Station Rota, Spain.
