Nitze also participated in the NATO-led vigilance activity Neptune Strike 23.1.
The crew of Nitze had scheduled port visits to Spain, Israel, Oman, Rome, Italy, Turkey, and Malta.
The crew hosted key leaders, including the U.S. Ambassadors to Türkiye and Malta, strengthening relationships.
