Ukraine Scores Another Victory After Russian Missile Boat Attack in Black Sea Operation
Ukraine has destroyed a Russian missile boat from the Black Sea Fleet in an operation near Russian-occupied Crimea.
Ivanovets, a small warship, received direct hits to the hull, after which it listed to the stern and sank.
Ukrainian forces released a video showing the moment of the impact, followed by a massive explosion.
Russian authorities have not commented on the incident yet.
A Russian military blogger, "Voenkor Kotenok," wrote on Telegram that the boat sank after being hit three times by naval drones.
Per Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, the boat was eliminated by members of its special unit, "Group 13," in Lake Donuzlav.
Rescue Operation of the missile boat worth $60-70 million was unsuccessful, though all crew members were safely evacuated.
