The ambitious journey began in Paris in July 2017. Powered by renewable energies and hydrogen, it aimed to push the boundaries of clean maritime travel.
Energy Observer is a floating laboratory powered by wind, solar, and seawater electrolysis. It serves as a platform for testing energy solutions.
In 7 years, the ship traveled over 68,000 nautical miles, visited 50 countries, and made 101 stopovers, showcasing sustainable technologies in all conditions.
Through 13 documentary films and over 500 videos, Energy Observer’s message reached millions, raising awareness about clean energy solutions.
Energy Observer’s next phase includes the design of a new vessel, Energy Observer 3, which will experiment with synthetic fuels and cutting-edge technologies.
The journey continues with Energy Observer leading the way in sustainable innovation, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for a greener world.
