PM Reviews the NMHC Progress

The Rs.3500 crore project is being built at the historic Indus Valley Civilization region of Lothal.

Lothal was one of the southernmost sites of the Indus Valley civilization, in the state of Gujarat.

NMHC is being developed as a legacy of Maritime Heritage of India, to showcase India’s rich glory.

It is being developed in an area of about 400 acres with unique structures such as a Heritage Museum.

The Prime Minister reviewed the work progress of the NMHC and conveyed his satisfaction on the project.

The Chief Minister of Gujarat emphasized upon the historical importance of Lothal and its traditions.

It is one of the major projects under Sagarmala scheme of MoPSW which has an edutainment approach.
