The Nimitz-class aircraft carriers are a class of ten nuclear-powered super carriers in service with the United States Navy.

The Nimitz class aircraft carriers have two nuclear reactors and four shafts.

It is 1,092 feet (332.85 meters) in length with a beam of 134 feet (40.84 meters) and flight deck width 252 feet (76.8 meters).

It has a displacement of approximately 97,000 tons (87,996.9 metric tons) full load and a speed of 30+ knots (34.5+ miles per hour).

The carriers are equipped with advanced radar systems, which can detect and track aircraft and ships over long distances.

These aircraft carriers can carry up to 60+ aircraft carriers and they include Multiple NATO Sea Sparrow, Phalanx CIWS, and Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) mounts.
