Ocean noise are the sounds from human activities that act as stressors to the marine ecosystem.

Due to noise from shipping traffic, the health of cetaceans deteriorates.

Underwater noise increases stress levels, which in turn cause problems to their breeding success.

Panic-stricken cetaceans are changing their diving behaviors, which can even lead to death.

Seismic vessels using airguns  inside the sea, heavily degrades the marine environment.

There is also a disruption in the regular communication between marine animals due to underwater noise.

Exposure to noise during the embryonic stage, increases the mortality rates at the time of birth.

The migration to new areas not only affects the marine diversity balance but also affects humans.
