An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Cape Cod launched and arrived on scene at about 10:45 a.m. They airlifted the ill crewmember off the Liberty Passion and flew him to an airport in Hyannis where awaiting Emergency Medical Services transported him to Cape Cod Hospital.

“Awesome job Coast Guard and thank you very much,” said the captain of the Liberty Passion in a radio transmission to the aircrew.
