Watch: The Unofficial World Record For Fastest Construction Of A Topside

The Johan Sverdrup Riser platform is very near setting what might be an unofficial world record for the fastest construction of a topside of its size – in just 19 months from start steel cut to sail-away. One of the first ones out, and the first topside to be installed, is the Johan Sverdrup Riser platform which is being constructed at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard on Geoje island in South Korea. We can`t wait to see it installed on the field, just outside of Stavanger, Norway!
