Watch: Cargo Ship Bridge Damaged As It Struck Netherlands Bridge

The bridge of an inland cargo ship called Southford sustained damages after it hit a bridge in the Scheldt-Rhine Waterway, in Rillnand, Zeeland, Netherlands.

The accident occurred on Wednesday evening when the 135 m long vessel was passing through the canal. Why and how did the skipper miscalculate the ship’s height and the elevation of the bridge remains unknown.

However, thankfully nobody was injured and even the Netherlands-flagged ship sustained minor damages except the bridge.
