The installation was carried out at the Quindao Beihai Shipyard in China; this equipment should improve the aerodynamics of the container ship while reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

This experiment is part of the shipowners’ energy transition strategy by reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. It also demonstrates the efforts made by maritime transport to reduce its carbon footprint.
