Video: The Day of the Seafarers 25th June, 2013 – Get Involved
Each year, 25th June is celebrated as the “Day of the Seafarers” to recognize the invaluable contribution that seafarers make to international trade, facing harsh working environment and an extremely difficult lifestyle.
The Day of the Seafarers is an opportunity to educate people about the work and lifestyle of seafarers and more importantly, say “Thank you” for their great contribution to the general public.
As “The Day of the Seafarers” is just round the corner, here’s a video released by the IMO, urging people to “Get Involved” and support the 1.5 million seafarers around the world.
