Video: Launching of Platform Supply Vessel STRIL LUNA

On Friday, 18th  October 2013, at high tide (around 16:00),  the “STRIL LUNA”(Construction C456) built  for the Norwegian shipowner Simon Møkster, was launched at our facilities in Figueras (Castropol).

It is an advanced Platform Supply Vessel, model UT776WP designed by Rolls Royce Marine and her main dimensions are 92 metres length, 20 metres beam and a deck surface of more than 1000 square metres.

Another important characteristic is the bow design known as “Wave-piercing” that will enable the vessel to pierce through waves in extreme weather conditions, while maintaining constant speed, reducing fuel consumption and enhancing safety.
