Real Accident Video: Bulk Carrier And Cargo Ship Collision in the Straits Of Singapore
A 57,000-tonne bulk carrier “Beks Halil” steaming out of Singapore collided with a smaller bulk carrier while passing the Strait of Singapore.
The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore had reported that the collision occurred about 3.4 kilometres south of Sisters Islands.
The smaller bulk carrier was hit on the port side in the aft after it could not stop or alter course for the larger ship. Crew members from another nearby ship caught the incident on tape.
There was no oil spill or injury to crew members in the ship collision accident.
