Raw Video: Ferry Crash With Another Ship Completely Destroys A Lifeboat
A ferry while leaving a port crashes with another ship resulting in total destruction of one of its lifeboat, which almost breaks into pieces before falling in the water.
According to the description of the video, the ferry supposedly belongs to SNCM – a French ferry company operating in the Mediterranean.
The ferry passes extremely close to another ship, narrowly escaping a major accident. However, the port side lifeboats crashes with the stern of the other ship, breaking one lifeboat totally, while damaging the other.

The accident took place in Marseille; the video has been shot in the SNCM Napoleon Bonaparte’s command deck 😉
All blames always goes to Master though pilot’s are equally responsible.
I should not make any comment on this particular incidence without knowing the actual fact.
ferries dont usually take pilots.
Not very clever to pass at the same time that another ship is turning (to me it seems both ship are underway)
I tried to listen. I will run it through the video again. But I didn’t hear a goddamned horn. The bridge officer on this vessel should have been leaning on that horn until hearing an answer.. There should have been a horn on crossing T aft of a ferryboat in that tight of quarters.
… Oh sorry, I didn’t realize that you needed a French horn.
Really wired seen this video , i do not know the facts occurred but taking a look on the video seems the master manouvered too much confidentially with another ship on the way .
