This came through after the Houthi terrorists in Yemen declared war on Israel and started launching missiles at Eilat.
On Tuesday, Israel’s Arrow air-defence system reportedly intercepted a missile that was launched from the Red Sea Zone at the Jewish state.
A spokesperson associated with Yemen’s Ansar Allah, the Houthi movement’s official title, confirmed that the terror group had reportedly launched cruise and ballistic missiles at Israel alongside drones.
Early on Wednesday, the IDF intercepted yet another threat close to Israel’s Eilat.
The military boasts several layers of air defences in the Red Sea zone to defend against the Houthi attacks.
On Friday, the IDF mentioned that one fighter jet intercepted an aerial threat on the Red Sea, that came hours following a drone attack on the town of Taba based in the Sinai Peninsula that eventually wounded six individuals.
On 19 October, Carney, one of the US Navy destroyers, shot down drones and missiles from Yemen that could be targeted at Israel, the Pentagon reported.
