Before the delivery, on August 30, Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MHIMSB) held a naming ceremony at the Nagasaki Shipyard Koyagi Plant of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a Group company of MHI based in Yokohama, held the christening ceremony on August 30 for a next-generation LNG carrier under construction for Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
In the presence of the President of Russian Federation and the Prime Minister of Japan, NOVATEK and Mitsui and Japan Oil, Gas and JOGMEC signed the Agreement to purchase a 10% participation interest in the Arctic LNG 2 project.
