Launching at Oceanology International 2022, the latest addition to KM’s HUGIN family builds on the proven capabilities of the advanced HUGIN architecture, adding cutting-edge autonomy to deliver the most advanced low-drag AUV.
Ocean Infinity, a leading marine robotics and deep sea data acquisition company, is implementing ShipManager fleet management software for 17 new robotic ships and additional autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).
The HUGIN to be delivered is rated to 4,500 metres and equipped with a full geophysical survey payload, including a KONGSBERG HISAS 1032 synthetic aperture sonar, EM2040 multibeam echosounder, sub-bottom profiler, camera and laser, together with a range of environmental sensors.
