World’s Largest Container Ship ‘Xinfu 107’ Docks On The Yangtze River
On June 26, the behemoth “Xinfu 107” made its way to the wharf of Yangzi Mitsui Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Taicang Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, escorted by a fleet of Marine patrol boats.

The vessel, constructed by Jiangsu Taixing Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., completed its mooring and entered the Yangtze River towing operation.
It is 5th of the world’s 6 largest container ships manufactured by the company.
With precision and caution, the “Xinfu 107” was towed to the Yangzi Mitsui Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. pier, where it will be outfitted.
The “Xinfu 107” measures 399.9 meters lengthwise, 61.3 meters breadthwise and has a depth of 33.5 m. Such massive dimensions allow it to accommodate 24,346 standard containers at a time.
As the “Xinfu 107” readies to sail the high seas, the world eagerly awaits the exceptional performance and contribution this remarkable vessel will make to the global shipping landscape.
