Three Largest Ship-To-Shore Cranes In The World Leaving For Port Elizabeth, US From Port Cork, Ireland

The three largest ship-to-shore container cranes in the world are reportedly leaving the Port of Cork and setting sail for the US. These Liebherr cranes were constructed in Kerry and each weighs 2,000 tonnes.

The 150-meter high cranes are the biggest objects to be ever built within the country to be exported abroad. The three machines are going to be brought to New Jersey’s Port Elizabeth.

At 4 pm on Wednesday, the vessel that was loaded with three massive units was seen departing the Port of Cork based in White Point, Cobh, before commuting across Ringaskiddy where it will be sailing along the West Cork coast to enter the greater Atlantic.
