Several People Injured After Vessel Tilts At Dockyard
33 people were injured when a 76-meter (250-foot) ship tipped over in Leith, Edinburgh, due to strong winds.
According to the Scottish Ambulance Service, 21 people were taken to hospitals, and the other 12 were treated and released at the scene.
The Edinburgh Royal Infirmary received 15 patients, Western General Hospital received four, and Victoria Hospital received two. Around 8.35 a.m., RV Petrel, the research vessel, was dislodged from its mooring at Imperial Dock, prompting police, fire crews, and ambulances to respond.
Images on social media showed the vessel at a 45-degree angle. Five ambulances, three trauma teams, an air ambulance, and other resources were dispatched quickly to the scene.
