Russian Found Dead In Vessel Sustained Head Injuries, Autopsy Report Confirms
The autopsy of a 50-year-old Russian named Sergey Milyakov, who was discovered dead in a cargo vessel, was conducted on Wednesday at Kujang hospital.
Dr Sagar Behera, who had performed the autopsy, mentioned that the deceased individual from Russia had a head injury. He may have sustained the injury by collapsing into the vessel’s cabin. Preliminary examination suggests that he lost his life due to natural causes.
SP Nimain Charan Sethy mentioned that the police had registered a case of unnatural death in this connection. Police have further interrogated 22 members of MV AI Danah, the ship in which Milyakov was discovered dead on Monday. Some members disclosed that the Russian was unwell when he boarded the vessel.
Milyukov was appointed as the chief engineer on MV AI Danah, which had anchored at the Paradip Port.
