Royal Caribbean Group Extends Suspension Of Cruising
Royal Caribbean Group continues to focus on the healthy and safe return to cruising for guests, crew, and the communities they visit. As they work closely with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and government authorities around the world toward this shared goal, the group is extending the suspension of certain sailings for their cruise lines.
The following schedule reflects adjustments to our upcoming 2021 itineraries.
- Royal Caribbean International:
- Suspending sailings through May 31
- Excluding Quantum of the Seas and Odyssey of the Seas
- Excluding China Spectrum of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas sailings from April 30 through May and beyond
- Celebrity Cruises:
- Suspending sailings through May 31
- Silversea Cruises:
- Suspending sailings through May 31
- Azamara:
- Suspending sailings through June 30
Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum of the Seas resumed sailing in Singapore last year with the local government’s CruiseSafe Certification. The certification confirms the three- and four-night Ocean Getaways meet the comprehensive health and safety requirements developed by the Singapore government. Recently, the company announced that Israeli holidaymakers will set a new course for an adventure this summer when Royal Caribbean International begins sailing from Israel for the first time in May with the fully vaccinated crew and guests over the age of 16. The global cruise line will offer Israelis a combination of three- to seven-night escapes visiting the Greek Isles and Cyprus onboard its highly-anticipated, brand-new ship, Odyssey of the Seas. The new sailings will go on sale on Tuesday, March 9.
Royal Caribbean Group continues to work with our Healthy Sail Panel of globally recognized scientific and medical experts to come back stronger, and they look forward to welcoming our guests back on board.
