Over 720,000 Tons Of Grain And Foodstuff Exported From Ukraine Under Grain Deal

The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) authorized the movement of one outbound merchant vessel KAFKAM ETLER to depart from Chornomorsk carrying 2,437 metric tons of corn to Türkiye under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

As of 22 August, the total tonnage of grain and foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 721,449 metric tons.

The JCC concluded inspections on nine commercial vessels, three outbound (I MARIA, ZUMRUT ANA, OCEAN S) and six inbound vessels (CANGA STAR, ASHBALTIC, AEOLOS, PEACE M, ANASTASIA, FPMC B201). They were all cleared to sail.

The joint inspection teams plan six inspections on three inbound vessels (DAYTONA DYNAMIC, ENEIDA, SILVER LADY) and three outbound (DA LIANG, FILYOZ, KUBROSLI Y).

As per procedures agreed at the JCC, all participants coordinate with their respective military and other relevant authorities to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The JCC monitors closely the passage of commercial vessels through the maritime humanitarian corridor.
