MSC Ghana Wins Multiple Awards At The 5th Ghana Shippers Awards
MSC Ghana was recently awarded the Shipping Line of the Year and Company of the Year at the 5th Ghana Shippers Awards. The company was also announced as the Liner Operator of the Year, at the event which was held in Accra on 19th August 2022. The votes for the award came from the board and executives of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority, Ghana Port and Harbours Authority, Ghana Maritime Authority – the government regulatory bodies overseeing the maritime industry in Ghana.
During the year in review, data showed that MSC was the highest performing company in terms of carriage of export and import cargo to and from Ghana.
“MSC exhibited above par performance based on data on their operations. They exhibited standards of excellence, including the use of information technology, safety, and competitive pricing,” the organizer of the awards, Globe Production said.
The awards ceremony was set up to recognize achievements from both local and international companies involved in the shipping sector in Ghana.
Cutting across road transportation, ocean carriers, air transportation, freight forwarding, shipping agents, express services, courier agencies, government agencies, insurance, and financial institutions and more, the event acknowledged those who played defining roles in moving the shipping industry forward during the COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 periods.

As MSC Ghana moves forward, the future is exciting. Despite the status as a market leader, we are not complacent. We are looking to be adaptive to market dynamics and keep working towards more success through client engagement. Our customers are the core of our business, and we will move cargo together.
To receive the awards on behalf of MSC Ghana was MD Peter H. Ehrenreich.
Speaking about the award and what it means, the Ehrenreich stated: “We are grateful and take pride in this achievement. We have such a dynamic and focused team, and I am convinced we will go from strength to strength in the years to come.
