MOL Becomes 1st Japanese Shipping Company To Receive ClassNK Certification For Its Social Data

MOL has made history as it became the first Japanese shipping company to have received a 3rd party certification from ClassNK for its human resources-related social data.
The achievement highlights that the data collected by MOL and its group companies between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, is accurate and reliable. This certification is proof of MOL’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
It is a vital step for the company’s investments in human capital as it shows transparency and ethical business practices being followed.
ClassNK’s certification comprises several human resources data about the percentage of women in permanent and managerial positions, the wage gap between male and female employees, the rate of permanent and non-permanent male employees who took childcare leave etc.
