HMM Ranked ‘The Most Reliable Global Carrier’
Hyundai Merchant Marine announced that it has ranked the most reliable global carrier among 18 global carriers for its on-time global performance.
According to SeaIntel’s Global Liner Performance Report, HMM ranked the most reliable carrier in August 2017 with a score of 85.4 percent, with the improvement of 1.3 percent points from last month. The report also showed that HMM’s on-time performance was 10.2 percent points higher than global average that of 75.2 percent, ranking Top 1 out of 18 global carriers compared to the ranking of 4th last month. This result was calculated for East-West, India, and South America services.
Since last September, HMM has put its continuous effort on rebuilding customer trust and improving its service quality. HMM has also focused on improving its schedule reliability, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.
An HMM official stated, “This dramatic improvement in schedule reliability is a rewarding result of our endless efforts to improve service quality.” And that “HMM will do its best to maintain top-level of schedule reliability to reciprocate customer trust in us.”
